Hallo zusammen!

Es geht um folgendes:

Ich habe auf meinem Linux Rechner (SuSE 7.3) die Java Virtual Machine von SUN installiert, da die ja benötigt wird um SunONE zu starten. Wenn ich aber jetzt die Installation von SunONE starten will, bekomme ich die Fehlermeldung das keine Virtual Machine gefunden wurde. Auch wenn ich das mit java -version prüfen will sagt er mir das er den Befehl java nicht kennt. Hatte jemand von euch das Problem auch schon oder kann mir sagen was da los ist?

Unter Windows musste man den Pfad zur "Java.exe" und den "PATH" eintragen. Unter Linux gibt´s was ähnliches.

du musst in /usr/bin softlinks zu den binaries der java vm hinterlegen, oder den /bin pfad der jvm zu deiner PATH umgebungsvariable hinzufuegen.

danach muesste es gehen ... ;)

edit: ok, peeter war ne minute schneller ... :D
