Hi, Leute!

Ich soll demnächst zwei PCs vernetzen (Netzwerkarten, Modell unbekannt), wobei einer mit Win98 (wahrscheinlich SE) und einer mit WinXP läuft.

Ist das ohne Probleme möglich oder "gibt's da was Besonderes zu beachten"?

Ich habe schonhier ("FAQ Win-Netze") reingeschaut.

Kann jemand einem NAU (Netzwerkinstallationsunfähigster ...) das nochmal Schritt für Schritt erklären?

Kabel- / Treiberinstallation,

Arbeitsgruppenname, Rechnername,

Win98: TCP/IP-, IPX/SPX-Installation,

Drucker- und Dateifreigabe,

die eigentliche Freigabe für Lw., Ordner

ist soweit bekannt und geläufig...
