kann mir bitte jemand kurz die genaue Funktionsweise einer USV erklären. Mir ist schon klar, dass eine USV für eine gewisse Zeit Spannung zur Verfügung stellt, aber wie genau das abläuft, weiß ich leider nicht. Vielen Dank Christian

Hallo

Der PC, Server, oder was auch immer wird von der USV mit Strom versorgt. Dabei ist der PC auser mit dem Netzkabel auch mit einem seriellen Kabel (kein Standard serielles Kabel) verbunden, über welches bei einem Stromausfall die USV ein Signal an den PC sendet, wen sie nicht mehr genug Strom liefern kann, damit alles was daran hängt weiter laufen kann. Der PC/Server fährt daraufhin sauber herunter.
