    Linux Datenserver

    *mow* hat einem Thema gepostet in Linux
    Hi, Eine Bekannte von mir hat mich gebeten, sie beim einrichten eines Datenservers auf Linux-Basis für ihr Büro zu unterstützen. Da ich mit Linux leider noch nicht wirklich viel Erfahrung habe, wende ich mich mal an euch =) Also, der Server soll ausschließlich zur Datenablage verwendet werden. Ein Windows-Server kommt aus Kostengründen nicht in Frage . . . . Die Clients werden wohl ca. 10 Notebooks mit WinXP sein. Nun meine Fragen an euch: Welche Linux Distribution ist dafür am besten geeignet? Was brauch ich des Weiteren dafür? Wie sollte ich es am besten aufbauen? Danke schonmal! Mfg Sebastian
