Hallo @ alle

Ich hätte da eine frage.

Ich Habe immoment eine einzige festplatte in meinem rechner eingebaut, die auf master gejumpert ist.

So Nun aber möchte ich 2 weitere festplatten einbauen und einer der beiden neuen Soll die "haupt" festplatte sein. Wie soll ich alle drei dann jumpern?

Wieviele IDE-Anschlüsse und Laufwerke sind insgesamt vorhanden?

Bei einem optischen Laufwerk (DVD, CD...) schlage ich folgendes vor:

IDE Channel 1

Master: neue Platte 1

Slave: neue Platte 2

IDE Channel 2

Master: alte Platte

Slave: optisches Laufwerk

Dann bitte im Bios die Bootreihenfolge klären, die alte HD während der Installation eines Betriebssystems nicht (!) im System laufen lassen, da Windows dann gerne den Status Systemplatte ausliest und sie weiterhin als Bootplatte laufen lässt (Du bekommst dann die alte Platte üblicherweise unter Laufwerksbuchstaben C: angezeigt, die neueren Platten werden danach eingeordnet).
