Hallo zusammen,

habe bei einem Kunden eine Windows 2000 Domäne. Da der Windows 2000 Server langsam am Ende ist, kommt jetzt ein neuer Server mit Windows 2003 R2 zum Einsatz. Dieser soll vorübergehend als 2. DC aggieren, bis im Sommerurlaub der Firma der komplette Austausch der Server statt finden kann.

Meine Frage: Was muss ich alles beachten, wenn ich einen 2. DC in eine bestehende Domäne einbinde. Muss ich ihn vor dem hochstufen erst in die Domäne aufnehmen? Was ist sonst noch zu beachten?

Da die Domäne aktiv genutzt wird, bin ich etwas vorsichtig.
