[vServer] zLib installieren!?!?

Hallo,

habe einen vServer (von Server4You) und habe dort nun nach langem hin und her PHP5 drauf installieren können. Dies läuft auch super. Bisher keine Probleme.

Nun bräuchte ich aber für eine Webanwendung auch zLib. Habs bereits installiert und PHP 5 neu kompilliert (--with-zlib-dir=/usr/local/lib). Doch nun erhalte ich beim Versuch den Apachen neu zu starten folgende Meldung:

vs162075:/usr/local/php5 # /etc/init.d/apache2 restart

Syntax error on line 26 of /etc/apache2/sysconfig.d/loadmodule.conf:

Cannot load /usr/lib/apache2-prefork/libphp5.so into server: /usr/lib/apache2-prefork/libphp5.so: undefined symbol: php_zlib_module_entry

Noch zur Info: Betriebsystem ist Linux SuSE 9.3; Apache 2.0.53; PHP 5.2.3

Ich hoffe hier kann mir jemand helfen.
