Hallo zusammen,

ich bin auf der Suche nach einem QuellCode (VB 2005 oder VB.Net) um die Gerätedaten, wie z.B. die GerätzeID eines USB-Sticks, auslesen kann. Gleichzeitig sollten die USB-Ports überwach werden (wie bei Windows) und eine Meldung generiert werden, wenn ein gerät hinzu gefügt oder entfernt wird.

Kann mir da jemand bei helfen?

der gerätecode lässt sich über WMI auslesen (dort z.b. Win32_LogicalDisk, wenn als laufwerk bereits verfügbar); ereignisse wie USB-gerät an/aus z.b. über ManagementEventWatcher. System.Management ist dein freund.
