Hallo zusammen

kann mir jemand tips zur Einrichtung eines HP Scanners unter SuSE7.3 geben?

- HP Scan Jet4100C / USB

- SuSE7.3 Personal

Der Scanner wird zwar erkannt und ein Treiber installiert, habe auch das "Sane" Paket installiert, der Scanner kann aber zB von Gimp nicht angesprochen werden.

Hab schon einige Seiten zum Thema USB Scanner und Linux gefunden, aber vieleicht hat hier jemand einen schnellen Tip?

Hast Du schon mal probiert ob der Scanner in Kooka funktioniert. Falls ja, liegt das Problem bei Gimp, falls nein liegt das Problem an der Scannerinstallation.
