Hallo erstmal und danke DevilDawn!

Ich habe mal wieder ein neues Problem!Ich will auf einer 9GB-Platte ein RH6.2 installieren und die root-Partition soll 4GB groß sein. Dummerweise kann ich bei der Inst. zwar 4000Megs eingeben, aber es kommt das 1024Zylinderproblem zum Vorschein.Gibt es da eine Lösung für eine 4GB-root-Partition?

auf den cd-rom('s) muesste auch doc's, manuals, howto's bzw. minihowto's sein die zu verschiedenen themen die noetigen info's liefern. lesbar auch unter win.

und falls die deutschen manuals installiert sind bekommst du mit

man -L de grep (als beispiel)

die deutsche man auf die roehre (soweit eine deutsche man zu diesem thema gibt)
