Can not find a valid msdos partition on hda...

Hallo Jungs und Mädls,

zur Zeit probier ich Basic LINUX auf meinem 386er zu installieren bzw. muss ich von 2 disketten starten und dann wenn ich die festplatte mounten will kommt die oben genannte Meldung. Hab die Platte auch schon mit einer DOS-Bootdisk formatiert. funkt immer noch nicht .

Hi,

/dev/hda ist die Platte.

Die Partitions wären für primäre Partitions /dev/hda1 - /dev/hda4 und für logische (glaub ich) /dev/hda5-/dev/hda7.

Wenn Du nur eine Partition (auf einem IDE-Gerät) hast, wirst Du sie i.a.R. mit /dev/hda1 ansprechen können.
