Bekomme wenn ich meine externe Festplatte unter XP anschließe folgende Fehlermeldung:

Auf F:/ kann nicht zugegriffen werden

Das Zeitlimit für die Semaphore wurde erreicht

Hat jemand eine Idee?

entweder ist die platte physikalisch hin, oder das dateisystem (FAT, NTFS?) hat einen hau.

in diversen foren werden zum angegebenen fehler verschiedenste datenrettungstools, sowie knoppix/knoppichilin genannt. ein backup existiert?

die Daten sind mir nicht so wichtig. Wie bekomme ich die Platte wieder zum laufen? Durch einfaches Formatieren?

mh, also formatieren hätte ich so oder so ausprobiert, wenn die Daten eh nicht so wichtig sind. Wenn sie danach immer noch nen Knacks hat, würde ich wirklich vermuten, dass sie defekt ist!?
