servus,

habe mir einen HP Laserjet 1100 A ersteigert.Leider hat dieser nur eine minicentronic Schnittstelle. Ich möchte den Drucker jedoch auch am Notebook nutzen! Deshalb meine Frage:

Beim Drucker ist ein Kabel dabei (Mini Centronic auf normal LPT) mit dem ich den Drucker ganz normal am PC anschliessen kann. Jetzt gibt es ja Parallel auf USB Adapter. Kann ich nicht einfach so ein Parallel auf USB Kabel an das vorhandene MiniCentronic auf LPT Kabel anschliessen (also quasi mein Kabel damit verlängern)?? Es handelt sich ja bei beiden um 25 pol. Stecker!Damit würde ich mir ein sehr teures Minicentronic auf USB Kabel ersparen! Oder gehen da Funktionen wie z.B Scanner oder so verloren?!?

Evtl hat ja jmd Erfahrung mit diesem oder ähnlichem Gerät!
