Hallo zusammen,

ich bin für ein mittelgroßes Backup-Umfeld zuständig. Wir haben zwei Libraries und einen größeren Diskpool. Ich überlege nun für unsere Kunden Sicherungsklassen zu definieren. Bisher bekommt jeder was er möchte :(

Zukünftig möchte ich noch 3-4 Klassen anbieten, z.B:

Gold = Backup auf Disk, Die sicherungen werden so lange wie möglich auf Disk vorgehalten

Silber = Backup auf Disk, Die Sicherungen werden nach ca. 2 Tagen auf Disk gelöscht

Bronze = Backup auf Disk - nach dem Duplizieren auf Tape werden diese von Disk sofort gelöscht

Tape = Backup sofort auf Tape

Habt Ihr auch ein solches Konzept oder Anregungen????
