MS SQL: Was passiert während des Backups?

Hallo Fachinformatiker,

ich kann mit Hilfe des MS SQL 2000 Enterprise Managers ja bequem täglich Backups erstellen lassen.

Mich würde mal interessieren, wie der Enterprise Manager während des Backups (bei einer Datenbank von sagen wir mal 800 MB dauert es ja ein wenig, bis alle Daten in das Backup File geschrieben sind) mit Änderungen von Daten durch die Benutzer umgeht...
