Frage wegen Jedit als "portable" Version

Hallo,

ich hab lange Zeit im Internet nach einer "portablen" IDE (am besten für C/C++) gesucht und bin zum Schluß mit Jedit fündig geworden.

Jetzt wäre allerdings meine Frage, ob es eine Möglichkeit gibt, sei es bei den Einstellungen (da hab ich leider noch nichts gefunden) oder beim Programmstart (z.B. als Parameter in der Kommandozeile), es so einzustellen das Jedit seine Daten (also auch die Temporären Dateien) nur auf dem USB-Stick erstellt??

Will heißen, das auf dem Rechner auf dem es laufen soll, keine Daten ausgelagert werden.

Ich hoffe, das mir jemand von Euch vielleicht weiterhelfen kann. Bzw. ich bin auch dankbar über einen Ratschlag wenn jemand vielleicht ein besseres Programm kennt, das sich vielleicht mehr für den Gebrauch auf einem USB-Stick nutzen läßt.
