Stream im LAN verteilen statt mehrere Streams aus dem Internet?

Hallo!

Ich habe ein Netzwerk mit folgendem Aufbau:

Ein Router für die Internetvebindung mit integriertem Switch. Daran Angeschlossen per 100Mbit Ethernet sind zwei PCs und ein WLAN-Access-Point. Mit dem AP sind noch einmal zwei Notebooks schnurlos verbunden.

Nun kommt es vor, das auf zwei Stationen gleichzeitig Streams aus dem Internet empfangen werden, z.B. über Zattoo. Manchmal wird exakt der selbe Stream genutzt. Das betrifft in der Regel die Stationen mit WLAN Anbindung.

Kann ich das WLAN Netz entlasten, wenn ich den Stream auf einem PC mit Ethernet-Anschluss empfange und an die beide WLAN Stationen weiterleite?

Ich denke die Internetanbindung würde entlastet werden. Aber wie steht es mit WLAN und LAN?
