Athlon oder besser Intel für den Server

Hi auch,

ich will mir zu meiner neuen Workstation zu Hause nen neuen Server kaufen. Jetzt bin ich aber unschlüssig was ich mir da holen soll. Meine Workstation ist ein P4 mit 1,7 Ghz, 1 gig Ram und ner GeForce3, mit der ich sehr zufrieden bin. Die Workstation zeigt eine gute Performance, wobei ich aber nicht weiss ob es an der Geforce3 oder am Prozessor liegt. Für den Server bin ich jetzt am überlegen ob ich mir nen P4 1,4 Ghz mit Rambus oder einen Athlon mit 1,4 Ghz holen soll. Ich will den Server hauptsächlich für FTP und als Webserver nutzen. Hin und wieder mal nen Q3 Dedicated Server drauf laufen lassen.

Was würdet ihr denn empfehlen? :confused:
