Da mein Freund Google mir nicht wirklich weiterhelfen konnte, dahcte ich ich frage hier mal nach, vielleicht gibt es ja sogar Erfahrungswerte.

Ich möchte einen alten Win98 Rechner in "VMware Server" virtualisieren. Und zwar nicht einfach eine VM neu aufsetzen, sondern wirklich die physikalische Maschine umwandeln.

Habe schon vom VMware Converter gelesen, allerdings funktioniert dieser nur mit einem ESX Server. Habe jedoch "nur" den "VMware Server" zur Verfügung.

Idee?

Mit VMware Converter kannst du die Physikalische Maschine konvertieren. Auch für Vmware Server. Brauchst dazu kein ESX Server

Aber der VMware Converter (v3.1) untersützt Windows erst ab NT4...
