Hallo,

ein Kunde von mir wollte sich eine neue (?) Seagate Barracude 7200.10 mit 360 GB und ATA-Anschluss einbauen (lassen). Mittlerweile bin ich soweit, dass die Festplatte im BIOS angezeigt wird, aber wenn ich Windows XP Professional (Revision 2002) booten möchte, hängt er sich bei dem Windows-Logo auf. Woran kann das liegen, bzw. was kann ich dagegen machen?

Einige Angaben zum System:

ca. 2 GB DDR2 RAM

Bitte mal ein paar infos, meine Kristallkugel hat noch sommerreifen... :D

Du hast aber die Bootquellen richtig definiert? hast nicht ne SATA an ein windows gehangen, was noch keine SATA Treiber drauf hat?

ist die Platte PATA oder SATA?

mit deiner beschreibung kann man exakt NIX anfangen.
