also wie geht das Double bzw. longWete in String umzuwandeln um in textfeld auf Dialog asuzugeben. Und umgekehrt?

"drucke" die Zahl doch einfach in den String, den du ausgeben willst.

das geht in C so:

sprintf(Zielstring, "Text, den du ausgeben willst ... %d", doubleVariable);

anstelle des %d kannst du natürlich auch floats und so setzen.
