Hallo Zusammen,

Kennt sich evtl. jemand mit der Software von Symantec "Backup Exec System Recovery Server Edition mit Manager Option" aus ?

Ich habe mir die Testversionen gedownloadet um diese in meiner Testumgebung aus zu probieren.

Die Testumgebung beinhaltet einen Windows 2003 Server(AD, DHCP, DNS) und 2 Laptops als Workstations.

Auf dem Server sind die Produkte Backup Exec System Revocery Srv Edition und der Manager Server installiert.

Auf Laptop1 ist der Manager Client von Symantec installiert.

Auf folgendes Problem bin ich gestoßen:

Ich habe mittels der Backup Exec Software ein Image vom Win2k SRV erstellt.

Dieses Image wollte ich auf Laptop 2 wiederherstelle, da ja Backup Exec diese wunderschöne Restore Anyware Option zur Verfügung stellt.

Das Image vom Server wurde auch mit der Option Restore Anyware erstellt.

Ich wollte jetzt fragen wie ich es schaffe über das Netzwerk, das Image auf Laptop 2 wiederherzustellen.

Hat jemand von euch evtl. eine Idee ?
