Hallo Leute, ich will einen Treiber für Windows 2000 auf meiner XP Kiste installieren. Der meldet aber falsches Betriebssystem. Es handelt sich um einen alten Diascanner für den es keinen Treiber für XP gibt. Ich hatte das schon mal mit Hilfe eines Tricks in der Registry geschafft, weis aber nicht mehr wie. Kann mir da jemand helfen?

Einer dieser Registry-Tricks ist es den Eintrag des ProductName unter HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion auf einen Windows 2000 - Eintrag zu ändern.

Das geht auch noch mit Build-Nummer und Service-Pack-Status, aber eben nicht alle Setups lassen sich austricksen.
