bin noch blutige anfängerin was java script betrifft.

möchte gerne ein textfeld in einem java-applet auslesen und in einer neuen html-seite ausgeben.

Hab ich schon, aber irgendwie bringt mich das nicht wirklich zur Lösung. :-(

Was ist denn an folgendem Methodenaufruf falsch?

var Text = window.document.applets["Notepad"].getAktuellerText();

alert(Text);

[...]

Das Applet hat trägt den Namen Notepad und beinhaltet die Methode getAktuellerText(), die einen Text zurückgibt, der mit alert ausgegeben wird.

Aber irgendwie passiert gar nichts.

Warum???
