Hallo zusammen,

ich habe folgendes Problem:

Ich habe den Auftrag bekommen eine PostgreSQL Datenbank zu erstellen, bzw eine bestehende Datenbank nochmal in PostgreSQL zu erstellen. Die SQL Syntax hab ich gespeichert. Konnte problemlos Tabellen etc. anlegen.

Jetzt das Problem:

Ich habe einen Datensatz in dem das Wort "Eiswürfel" vorkommt. Sobald ich versuche dieses Satz per SQL Shell(psql) einzufügen (INSERT INTO) kommt folgende Fehlermeldung

Was nun?

hab schon einige Sachen probiert bin aber gescheitert.

Kennt jemand ne Lösung? ich such trotzdem weiterhin.

habs rausgefunden:

\encoding [latin1 | unicode]

SO klappts dann aufeinmal!

manchmal ist die Lösung zu einfach!
