vpn client has encountered an error

ich benutzte den cisco anyconnect VPN Client, welcher ohne probleme auf meinem laptop(windows vista) läuft.

wenn ich den client dann auf meinem pc(windows xp service pack 1) anwenden möchte kommt nun die nicht viel sagende nachricht "The VPN client has encountered an error" und "Unable to establish VPN".

es liegt mit hoher wahrscheinlichkeit nicht an meiner sygate firewall oder an antivir.

vielleicht kann mir hier jemand helfen, da ich mit dem support von meiner uni schon gesprochen habe ohne erfolg...

Hat das einen Sinn, dass das System ungepatcht ist?

keinen größeren sinn außer zu faul.

aber sollte es wirklich daran liegen lässt sich das ändern

achja is ja auch schon servicepack 2 hab ich vergessen...
