Hallo,

ich habe vor, drei FTP-Server zu einem virtuellen RAID zusammenzufügen. Dies soll mit VMWare und FreeNAS und den per NetDrive eingebundenen Servern geschehen, wie aus dieser Anleitung ersichtlich ist:

Es will aber nicht so richtig funktionieren. Ich habe VMWare-Container auf die jeweiligen FTP-Server geschoben und dann mit VMWare ein System eingerichtet, in das ich die drei Server als Festplatten hinzufügen wollte.

Welches VMWare muss ich dafür überhaupt verwenden? Da steht zwar in der Anleitung etwas von VMWare Server, aber der Screenshot sieht eher nach VMWare Player oder Workstation aus. VMWare Server hat nämlich ein Web-Interface.

Des sieht nach VMware Workstation aus.

Gibt es die Anleitung auch auf einer anderen Webseite, bei der ein Virenscanner nicht anschlägt?
