speedport w5004 als basis und Speedport w500 als repeater

Hallo,

folgendes Problem:

Ich besitze einen W504v als Basisrouter und möchte nun W500v als Repeater anschließen.

Ich habe auf beiden Seiten den gleichen Kanal eingestellt, beide SSIDs sind sichtbar, bei beiden Geräten ist die Repeaterfunktion angeschaltet und ich sehe jeweils das andere Netz im Repeatermenü.

Leider kann ich die Repeaterverbindung nicht erfolgreich einrichten. Kann mir jemand weiterhelfen und beschreiben, ob und wie man die richtige Verschlüsselung (W500v hat keine Optionen zur Wahl) einstellt? Was gibt es sonst noch zu beachten, damit die Verbindung zur Basis endlich funktioniert?
