Hallo ein Freund hat für mich auf einer CF Karte den Debian Lenny Netinstall gemacht + sonstige Sachen

der Rechner ist ein Thin Client Futro S400

nun zu meinem Problem ich bin absoluter Anfänger habe jedoch gelesen das CF Karte nach einer gewissen Anzahl von Schreibvorgängen kaputt gehen.

nun will ich die CF Karte am liebsten 1 zu 1 Clonen so das wenn sie mal kaputt ist einfach umgesteckt werden kann.

Wie mache ich das HILFE :)

dd if=/dev/sdc | gzip > image-compress_sdc.img.gz

Zufällig habe ich genau so etwas vor kurzem auch gemacht. Um die CF-Card zu schonen, würde ich /var/log in ein tmpfs auslagern.
