aus hexcode eine gzip datei mache?

Hallo!

Ich brauche Hilfe.

Ich muss ein Rätsel lösen. Ich habe einen Hexcode der so anfängt: 1f 8b 08..... darin soll eine geheime Botschaft stecken..

Ich weiß nur soviel: der Code muss wohl in ascii umgewandeln werden und dann in gzip (oder zip?) verpacken und wieder entpacken..

Nun ja.. genau das habe ich letzte Nacht probiert. Quasi bis zum Umfallen. Aber ich komme nicht mal annähernd aus der IT-Branche und krieg das einfach nicht hin. also, irgendwie kriege ich es schon hin, aber ich wüsste nicht, wo ich danach eine verschlüsselte Nachricht lesen sollte..

Kann mir bitte bitte jemand helfen?

Ich bin am verzweifeln..
