DNS & VirtualBox - .local funktioniert .lpxes nicht (Host-Only Adapter)

Hi Leute,

Ich hab mir eine Virtuelle Umgebung gebastelt in VirtualBox.

Ich habe 6 Virtuelle Maschinen einem Host-Only Adapter vboxnet1 Zugewiesen.

Ich habe keinen DNS Server als VM oder auf meinem HOST eingerichtet.

Alle haben einen Hostnamen *.lpxes.

jetzt wollte ich über deren DNS Namen pingen, doch ich kriege eine Meldung das der DNS Name nicht aufgelöst werden kann.

Ich habe noch eine Webserver VM CentOS7 x64 dessen DNS Name ist webserver.local er ist vboxnet0 zugewiesen.

Diesen kann ich darüber pingen.

Meine Frage gibt es hinter .local eine Spezielle Link-Local DNS Struktur wie bei IPV6 mit den Link-Local adressen, dass DNS anfragen bei .local durchs Netzwerk gebroadcastet wird ? bzw wie kann ich meine LPXES VMs per DNS ohne extra DNS Server erreichen.
