chipset ist nicht so wild, meinen oben beschriebenen tausch habe ich von einem sis-pentium-1 chipsatz auf einen intel 430hx gemacht. wie gessagt, gemeckert hat der server erst, als ich den CONTROLLER ausgetauscht habe...

ist komisch. aber egqal: auf den boards kann ich den controller net austauschen. Ist halt kein SCSI.

oder seh ich das falsch?

(damit ihr meine leidensgeschichte besser nachvollziehen könnt: ich versuch grade ersatzweise auf nen pentium 200 mit 64 MB ram ein win2k draufzubasteln. *LOL*)

würde es etwas helfen, wenn ich statt win2k mit winXP, 98 oder 95 experimentiere?
