norton antivirus und rechner aus!

hi!

folgendes problem: ich habe norton antivirus 2002 installiert und jetzt fährt mein rechner nicht mehr hoch. genauer gesagt er fährt bis zum ersten windows startbildschirm und dann geht er aus. dassselbe gilt für den abgesicherten modus!

irgendwelche ideen?

Um welche Windows-Version handelt es sich denn?

es handelt sich um win98...und ich meine SE, bin mir aber nicht ganz sicher -> rechner einer bekannten...
