Ich hab da ne Sparc Station 10 mit Sun OS (Solaris 7 Server)

Die Installation Partitionierung und Formatierung funktioniert ohne Probleme ..... Das Bootrom mit den notwendigen Daten für Boot device kann ich auch ohne Probleme Schreiben..... Die Kiste Bootet aber nicht von der Platte

Hast Du mal nachgeschaut mit was für einem Device die Kiste bootet ?

Ja hab ich ... und das is soweit auch OK aber ......

Die Meldung lautet "Bootblk: can 't find the Boot Programm!" :confused:

Kann das sein das deine Partirion zu groß ist ?

vielleicht mal eine kleinere root partition nehmen.

< 2GB.

warum ne kleinere ROOT Partition????? ...... Ich Probiers mal ......
