Dringend!!!!!

Ich will unter Suse 7.3 (Kernel 2.4) ipchains zum laufen bringen doch iregendwie funktioniert der Patch von Suse nicht .....

Ich bekomme immernoch die Meldung :

"INCOMPATIBLE WITH THIS KERNEL"

Neueste IPCHAINS-Userland-Programme besorgen, ist IPchains in den Kernel kompiliert bzw. das Modul vorhanden?

Was heisst hier neuste wenn der Kernel Ipchains nicht unterstützt????

Und woher bekomme ich das ganze ???????

Das Problem könnte sein, das nach dem booten bereits einige iptables kernelmodule geladen werden. Nach einen Aufruf von ipchains erfolgt dann die Meldung "Incompatible with this Kernel".

Entferne einfach sämtliche iptables Module aus dem Kernel :

lsmod und rmmod.

Danach mal versuchen ipchains aufzurufen.
