Hallo zusammen,

mich würde mal interessieren was ihr so von Smoothwall bzw. dem Fork von Smoothwall IpCop haltet, bzw. was ihr für erfahrungen damit gesammelt habt.

Besonders bin ich an Berichten über IpCop interessiert.

Also ein bisschen mehr Beteiligung hätte ich mir ja schon ausgemalt :confused:

Hallo,

habe vor geraumer Zeit mal die Smoothwall installiert. Fand das eigentlich recht komfortabel und einfach. War innerhalb von ner 1/2 Stunde damit online und konnte saemtliche Dienste auf den Clients benutzen.

Seit sie Shadow-Passwörter auch eingebunden haben, denke ich kann man das Ding auch relativ bendenkenlos empfehlen.

Falls Dich aber interessiert was hinter der ganzen Web-Oberfläche steckt geht nichts über einen selbstgebastelteten Regelsatz mittels IPChains bzw. IPTables.
