Suse8.0 auf Raid0 -- Lilo-Fehler

Hi,

ich habe auf meinem Mainboard einen Promise Raid Controller. Jetzt habe ich ein Raid0 - Array angelegt und will Suse8 datauf installieren.

Yast erkennt das Array auch (/dev/ataraid/d0). Installation funzt auch!

Leider bootet Lilo aber nicht.

Das 'L' erscheint noch, aber dann schreibt er nur noch 'AA' bis ich ausschalte...

Wer kann helfen?

Ich hab schon so ziemlich alles ausprobiert: Lilo in /boot installiert; im MBR der 'ersten' Platte; auf Diskette...Jedesmal das Gleiche Prob.

Kann es sein, dass /boot und LILO auf einer Partition ausserhalb des Array installiert werden muss? Und nur /root auf das Array darf?

Ich habe es jetzt wahr gemacht und /boot auf einer Platte ausserhalb des Arrays plaziert...Genauso wie Lilo. Ist wahrscheinlich nicht die tollste Lösung, aber es funktioniert....
