koennt ihr mir helfen ???

wie kann ich auf einen redhat system pop3 port oeffnen und aktiv machen so das sich user anmelden koennen und ihr mail abrufen koennen?????

Wenn ein POP3-Server installiert ist, kannst Du ihn i.d.R. in der Datei /etc/inetd.conf aktivieren.

Hmm, ich glaube RedHat verwendet xinetd. Die Konfigurationsdateien müssten unter /etc/xinetd.conf und /etc/xinetd zu finden sein. Dort kannst Du dann entsprechend POP3 freischalten, sofern ein entsprechender POP3 Server installiert ist.
