Weiss jemand zufällig, was die Datei ...\exchsrvr\mdbdata\priv.edb ist? Das Ding hat bei mir etwas über 400MB, ich tippe mal drauf, dass das nicht öffentliche, gespeicherte Mails sind...? Kann das jemand bestätigen?

Wenn nicht, was ist es dann, bzw, wie bekomme ich die etwas verkleinert?

Hier mal ne Beschreibung der wichtigsten Dateien von Exchange 5.5:

PRIV.EDB

enthält sämtliche Nachrichten aller Postfächer.

PUB.EDB

enthält alle öffentlicher Ordner, von denen ein Replikation auf diesem Server liegt.

DIR.EDB

Enthält das Verzeichnis von Exchange 5.5. Hierin stehen die gesamten Konfigurationsdaten von Exchange, die Benutzer und alle Parameter, die Exchange so verwaltet.
