kein Sound unter KDE

Hallo Informatiker,

bei mir funktioniert der Sound nicht unter KDE? Woran könnte das liegen?

Wenn ich mit eine CD abspiele wird zwar die CD gelesen und die Titelnummern werden angezeigt, aber leider hört man nichts. Die Rechte für die Datei /dev/dsp0 sind so gesetzt, das jeder diese Datei ausführen, lesen und schreiben kann. Ich habe übrigens SuSE 7.2 und KDE 2.1.2.

Danke schonmal für eure Hilfe.

mal mit "/sbin/rcalsasound status" schauen ob der treiber geladen ist. Wenn nicht, mit start starten.

hast du sound on board?

Ist das CD-ROM-Audiokabel an der Soundkarte eingesteckt??
