Unter Windows 2000 starten Sie auf diese Weise den Registry-Editor: «Start, Ausführen» und (ohne Anführungszeichen) «regedit» eintippen.

Im Registry-Editor hangeln Sie sich nun zu diesem Key durch:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Cdrom

Dort werden Sie einen Eintrag «Autorun» finden, der den Dword-Wert «1» trägt. Ändern Sie diesen Wert auf «0» und starten Sie den PC neu
