Hallo,

ich habe da mal eine Frage, vielleicht könnt ihr mir da ja weiterhelfen.

Ich verwende ein C++ - Programm, das mit einem JAVA-Applet über http(s) kommuniziert . Das C++ - Programm läuft also als CGI-Prozess.

Die Menge der Daten, die zwischen Client und Server ausgetauscht werden ist relativ groß. Meine Frage, kann ich den Output (den ich auf STDOUT schreibe) irgendwie komprimieren (z.B. mit einem Zip-Algorhytmus)? Falls ja, welche LIB gibt dafür?

such mal im netz nach einer "mini lzo library" oder sowas.

packt akzeptabel. du musst deine daten evtl. in blöcke aufteilen und diese blöcke (blockgrösse z.b. 4kb ungepackt) dann packen, verschicken und auf der anderen seite dann wieder entpacken.
