E-mail- Anhänge zu groß ????

Hallo zusammen,

Ein Bekannter von mir hat Win2000 und arbeitet mit Outlook Express 5.

Nun ist es aber so, daß er wöchentlich 1-2 mal Mails verschicken möchte, deren Dateianhänge teilweise 5 - 7 MB groß sind.

Gleichzeitig erhält er auch solche Mails mit ähnlich großen Anhängen.

Mir ist es jetzt schon 2 mal passiert, daß ich solche Mails mit einem POP3- Direktzugriff vom Server löschen mußte, da Outlook den Download nach etwa 10 Min. unterbrach. Weiß jemand Abhilfe? Könnte das Problem auch bei seinem e-mail- Provider liegen (Strato) ?

Ich denke es liegt daran das die meisten freemail-provider nur einen space von 2-5 MB zur Verfügung stellen.....

Bringt Outlook irgendwelche Fehlermeldungen?
