Hallo,

Ich versuche mit einem php4-Script eine Datenbank auszulesen.

Nun habe ich das Problem dass in die unten stehende Anweisung Username und Passwort integriert werden muss, damit ich die Datenbank öffnen kann. Kann mir jemand sagen, wie das auszusehen hat?

$db = mysql_connect();

Wobei du bei dieser Funktion keine Datenbank zurückbekommst, sondern einen Link identifier.

Ich würde die Variable also nicht $db sondern $link oder $conn nennen, damit es nicht zu Verwechselungen kommt.
