X windows unter FreeBSD

Hi,

hab mir gestern mal FreeBSD 4.6 installiert, hab aber mächtig Probleme mit der X windows konfiguration.

Nach dem alles eingestellt ist, gibt es nur noch Streifen am Monitor

Also zur Hardware:

AMD K6/2 500

VIA apollo MVP 100 Chipsatz

Creative Graphics Blaster mit riva TNT 2 Ultra Chip (32MB Speicher) auf AGP-Port

Weiss jemand, was ich da alles eingeben muss im XServer config ?

Oder sollte ich lieber andere Hardware nehmen :rolleyes:

Hi,

das hab ich gemacht, allerdings hab ich auch da nicht die Möglichkeit die Graka korrekt anzusprechen. Hab auch schon im "Expert Mode" beim entsprechenden Punkt alles ausgefüllt, aber auch danach ging es nicht.

Am besten ne andere graka rein... :(
