Hallo!

Ich hab eine x1200-Router von Bintec und möchte von diesem

aus gerne auf meine Linuxkiste (Debian 3) loggen.

Ich hatte das ganze auch schon mal unter Debian 2.2r6 am laufen.

Ich hab meinem Router gesagt das er auf meine Linuxkiste die Logs schreiben soll, und in der syslog.conf hab ich dementsprechend die Einträge gemacht. Doch leider ist mein Log leer :(

Hab ich vergessen irgendwo einen Port frei zu geben?

Würde mich freuen wenn jemand ne Idee hätte was ich

vergessen hab.

Schau mal noch ob der syslogd bei dir überhaupt gestartet ist.

Ich habs gefunden, mir hat der Schalter "-r" beim syslogstart gefehlt, sonst nimmts keine externen logs an.
