Wie kann ich KDE unter FreeBSD installieren. :confused: Kann mir jemand eine Schritt für Schritt Anleitung geben oder eine Website wo die Anleitung vorhanden ist. Hab die FreeBSD Version 4.4

geh in die ports "/usr/ports/x11"

such dir deinen x11 aus und dann "make install clean"

danach kannst du deinen x11 server mit "xf86config" oder "xf86setup" konfigurieren.

eine weiter alternative wäre "/stand/sysinstall".

aber so richtig habe ich das nicht verstanden. Bin ein Anfänger mit FreeBSD usw. und kenn mich nicht optimal aus.

dann tipp in der shell einfach "/stand/sysinstall"

dort dann den x11 server installieren. wenn du damit fertig bist wieder zurueck in die shell und dort in das verzeichnis "/usr/ports/x11/kde2" welchseln, mit "make install clean" den ******* installieren und dann mittels "xf86setup" dein x window konfigurieren. am schluss dann per "startx" das ganze starten.
