Sind Euch Geschwindigkeitsdefizite bei der Verwendung des Novell-Clients 4.81 auf WinNT- und Win2000-Maschinen bekannt?

Hab im Novell-Support-Forum folgendes gefunden:

I am having performance problems with my windows 2000 workstations running the 4.81 and 4.83 client. For instance if you click My Network Places and pick an NT server. and click on a share, it will take u p to 30 seconds to get a response back, I.e. the contents of the share. If I remove the netware client from the workstation, and do the same, response if under 1 second. any ideas?

Weiss nicht, ob das so sehr nützlich ist, weil ist auch viel zu lesen von Dingen, die ich nicht grad aus dem EfEf kenne.

Jedenfalls läuft der 4.83 Client

auf meinen XP- und 2000-Maschinen problemlos.

Wenn ich einen älteren Client draufmache, dann läuft es problemlos... Ich habe auch bereits die Information erhalten, dass der 4.81er recht träge in Verbindung mit NT-Servern reagieren soll, aber der 4.83er angebliuch nicht... Ich werd das mal versuchen und sehen, was passiert. Danke erstmal!
