Unterschiedliche Zeilenfarbe bei Textarea

Hi,

Ich möchte, dass die einzelnen Zeilen in meiner Textarea unterschiedliche Farben haben.

Habe es mit setForeground(Color.xxx) probiert aber da wird auch der bestehende Text neu auf diese Farbe eingefärbt.

Hallo,

in einer TextArea (AWT) geht das auf keinen Fall, da AWT betriebssystem abhängig ist und ohne größere Eingriffe nicht geändert werden kann.

In einer JTextArea dürfte das ebenfalls nicht gehen, da sie mit dem Model PlainDocument arbeitet.

Schau dir mal die Componenten JEditorPane und JTextPane an.

Damit müßte es gehen. Gearbeitet habe ich mit diesen Componenten aber auch noch nicht.
