Mahlzeit,

habe folgendes problem:

Unter Win2k fuhr mein Rechner (Board: Elitegroup K7VTA3) immer ordentlich runter, aber unter Winxp fährt er immer wieder hoch, auch wenn ich runterfahren wollte. Das neueste BIOS-Update habe ich schon, aber hat nicht geholfen.

Was tun=

Versuche unter XP mal folgendes:

Systemsteuerung/Hardware/Weiter/Ja, Hardware bereits angeschlossen/Neue Hardware hinzufügen/Hardware manuell auswählen/Herkömmliche NT APM-Unterstützung/Weiter... Nach Erfolg Reboot und dann müsste es klappen.

hat leider nicht geklappt. muss ich weiterschauen.

Sicher das im BIOS keine paranoide Servereinstellung an is die den Rechner immer wieder booten lässt? Soein Powerfail kram...

Habs hinbekommen:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE --> Software --> Microsoft --> WindowsNT --> CurrentVersion --> Winlogon

unter "PowerdownAfterShutdown" (REG_SZ) den Wert auf 1 gesetzt.
